happy second birthday Seb, Elle & Dylan

The Birthday gathering this year was pretty laid back. It was nice to see the gang a little more excited and aware of what was happening. We had my parent's in town from Illinois, Liz's folks and realitives over and some friends. Thanks to Meg for the balloon animals! Liz made a tastey cake and a good time was had by all.

Hanging out in the backyard with the gang. Which brings Liz and I around to a thanks that we have not mentioned yet. Grandparents are the sanity that hold us together. Liz's Mom and Dad help us out with our wacthing of the Herd throughout the week. My Parents (on a sabbatical from Iliinois) helped out his past week on keeping an eye on the daily duties. Liz and I would be nowhere if it were not from the help of these four people in out lives. Much thanks to all in making life a bit easier in the big juggle.

Hitting the road once again

It was off to Central Oregon this weekend for some nice R&R with Margi and Dennis. Here are a few shots and videos. There was a load of fresh air, some swimming and roaming around some large hills. Hope everyone is well.

we had just finished our basement and the official unveiling was eclipsed by a very nasty stomach virus that floored the gang. they were troopers and still held in there. x-mas pix and video just around the corner.

so many babies > so little time.
we have finally wrapped up the remodel and have been battling a bit of the post-Christmas sickness. we had a chance to get away this weekend up to Mt Hood for some cross-country skiing, hanging out with friends and ending the stay with a tube-sledding session. I will post some video here and then work the time back to Christmas with pix and video. sorry about the long pause on posts.

Liz and I are wrapping up some last minute late-night ventures (wrapping presents, printing photos, drinking wine, trying to pretend that the 6:00 a.m. wakeup call from the gang will not be that harsh) and we just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. x-mas, remodel and keeping sanity....

hello all.

sorry the updates have been a bit sporadic. life has been a bit hectic with the remodel of the basement and the general Holiday hoopla. the little ones are doing great. they rule the house and have become little parrots (which has definitely changed Pop's vocabulary). we are nearing the end of the remodel and hope to have a full functioning basement here soon. here are a few pictures until the big Santa posting in a week or so. all the best to you and your family for the Holidays. and yes....Elle had a few more pix this round. more of the boys next time :)
